It’s like a Stay-cation!

Good people, friendly and good at what they do. We had a 12 metre Sapphire installed and we’re really happy with it. We enjoy swimming throughout the summer. It’s like a staycation when you’ve got a pool in the house.

Easy process and an amazing job

I found them on Facebook as I was looking for someone who could put in a pool in the awkward space we had. It was the easiest process and an amazing job. They gave us exactly what we wanted.

Fine job, no problems

They put in our Penguin pool three years ago and it’s been good ever since. Fine job, no problems. I’d recommend them for sure. They got stuck in, did the job and didn't have to come back for anything.

Took care of the planning and consent process

Helped us with the whole lot. Did all the site work and helped with the planning process and council consents for install. We got a 12 metre by 4.5-metre Penguin pool and we love it. Poocorp worked in well with us and were professional and on time.

Everyone said it couldn’t be done, apart from Poolcorp

We had seven people assess where we wanted to put the pool and everyone said it couldn’t be done. Apart from Steve Mabbett from Poolcorp. It was an awkward hillside site and we wanted an above-ground timber pool. They had seven-metre deep piles bought in for foundations and built the pool and landscaped around it. Really professional job.

Steve was phenomenal. He came down to scope out the job. Told us what he was going to do and came and did it all when he said he would. It was a tricky space but he thought it out well and he was a helluva hard worker. Beavers away all day and is tidy and organised.

I engaged Steve Mabbett to build and install a decent-sized pool for one of my clients. He is a busy national news media personality and the Grey Lynn site had a tiny access route. Steve made the plans work on a tricky site and it was just what I needed. His workmanship is technically excellent and he’s a practical problem solver.

Easy progress payments make it viable

We had a Topaz Penguin pool installed two summers ago. We’re a family of keen swimmers so it's really nice to have and brings family together. We’re really happy. It was a smaller section with tricky access. It had to be craned over the house and it went seamlessly.


What I liked about Steve and Poolcorp is they don't outsource any parts of the job. They can do the whole lot from start to finish. And the fact you can pay as you go with progress payments instead of having to stump up large amounts upfront before any work begins.

Poolcorp made the most of our available space

We had a pool installed for the family. The neighbours put one in and then I really wanted one. It was a tricky sloping site, but Poolcorp made the most of our available space. Very happy.

Had to have the pool craned over the house. No hitches

We were doing a big renovation and the pool was a family idea as a means of bringing together. Poolcorp were excellent. It was a 10-metre pool going in the backyard and it had to be craned over the house. Went without a hitch!  Very pleased. If I ever had to do another one, I would go there again.

We had no issues or problems

Right from the start of the process, we had no issues or problems with anyone or anything and always got an immediate response to any questions raised. Since installing the pool, we had a couple of minor issues with the motor, but this was always rectified whether it was during the week or a weekend.
